You and Your Daddy
I see your eyes, calling out to me
but I am stuck here, I cannot come
She is holding you away from me
Keeping me away from your heart
Your eyes show the tears that you
have cried, screaming for your Dad.
Yet she won't let us be together
she is what is keeping us apart.
My child, soon things will be better
you and I will be together.
I will not let us be seperated again
She will not come between us.
The three of us will never be a family again
Your mother has made sure of that.
But a family can be made of just two
A family can exist without a mom.
So cry not, my daughter,
we will be together
without the pain of your mother
we will always be a family
Just you and your daddy.
